Real-time media monitoring for 60 government ministries
Built the crawlers, data pipelines and AI layer behind a media-monitoring platform for 60 ministries of the Government of India: 200+ newspapers, YouTube, Twitter/X and more, with speech-to-text, text-to-speech and prompt-engineered AI.

01Context
At Aaizel I built the data and AI side of a media-monitoring platform used by 60 ministries of the Government of India, tracking coverage across print, video and social media.
02Challenge
Every source publishes differently. Getting timely, searchable information meant collecting from hundreds of newspapers plus video and social platforms, each with its own format, and turning free-form content into consistent, structured records.
03Approach
- 01
Crawl at scale
Developed intelligent crawlers covering 200+ Indian newspapers, YouTube videos, Twitter/X and other social platforms.
- 02
Extract structure
Pulled structured data out of each article, video and post, so different sources land in one consistent shape.
- 03
Pipeline every source
Built the data pipelines that carry output from all the crawlers through processing and into the platform, so every source flows through one consistent path.
- 04
Add speech and AI
Built speech-to-text and text-to-speech APIs, and did the prompt engineering for the platform's AI features.
- 05
Index in real time
Indexed new content as it was collected, making the latest coverage searchable straight away.
